Mousetrap Mechanism

This intricate mechanical device resembles a mouse trap made of polished brass and silver, adorned with gears and cogs. When activated as a bonus action, the Mousetrap Mechanism can create a magical area of effect with a radius of 10 feet. Within this area, enemy creatures must succeed on a DC 15 Dexterity saving throw or take 2d6 force damage and become restrained by magical wires for 1 minute. A restrained creature can attempt to break free by making a Strength (Athletics) check against the same DC at the end of their turns. As a bonus action, the device can be reset, allowing it to be used again after a short or long rest. Additionally, while the item is in the possession of a construct, it gains advantage on the saving throw to escape from being restrained.
