Starshard Protector's Amulet

This amulet, crafted from fragments resembling star shards, is imbued with celestial energy. While wearing the Starshard Protector's Amulet, you gain a +1 bonus to AC as long as you are within 30 feet of a star shard or celestial object. Additionally, once per long rest, you can use a reaction when a creature within 30 feet of you takes damage to absorb that damage. You regain temporary hit points equal to the damage taken, which lasts for 1 minute or until you take damage again. If you are reduced to 0 hit points while wearing this amulet, the amulet shatters, releasing a burst of radiant energy. Each creature within a 10-foot radius must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw, taking 2d6 radiant damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. After this effect, the amulet is no longer functional and cannot be repaired.
