These iron chains shimmer with an eerie blue light and resonate with the whispers of trapped souls. While wearing the Soulforge Chains, you gain the following benefits:
Soulbound Resistance: You have resistance to necrotic damage.
Soul Harvest: When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points, you can siphon a portion of its life force. You gain temporary hit points equal to your character level. This effect can be used once per short or long rest.
Construct's Fortitude: You can cast the Shield spell and the Animate Dead spell once each without expending a spell slot. You regain the ability to use this feature after a long rest.
Chains of Manipulation: As an action, you can animate the chains to restrain a creature within 30 feet of you. The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw against your spell save DC or be restrained for 1 minute. A restrained creature can use its action to make a Strength check against your spell save DC, freeing itself on a success. You can use this feature once per long rest.
