Vlad the Wandering Drunk

Vlad the Wandering Drunk is a human bard with a reputation that precedes him. Known for his unruly behavior and fondness for ale, he has stumbled through many towns and taverns, leaving behind a trail of laughter and chaos. With wild, unkempt hair and a scruffy beard, Vlad is often seen clutching a battered lute in one hand and a tankard of ale in the other. His thin frame suggests a life of poor choices and hearty consumption, yet it is his charm and quick wit that keep him in high spirits — usually at the bottom of a barrel.

Hailing from a small village, he was once a respected folk hero, celebrated for his clever songs about triumphs in battle and blunders in love. However, aging and incessant drinking turned those tales more into drunken ramblings, and his fame fizzled out. Now, he wanders from village to village, desperately clinging to his past glory while inciting cheers and laughter, often at his expense. Desperate for redemption, he seeks to pen the greatest ballad of his life, but distractions arise at every corner, often involving another drink.

Vlad’s addiction to alcohol clouds his better judgment, leading him into a series of misadventures with shady tavern owners or unwitting adventurers.
