Monster Description

The Firearmadillo is a small, armored beast native to the sun-scorched deserts. It rolls into a flaming ball when threatened, using its fiery body to intimidate and harm would-be attackers. Its hard shell reflects dangers while its flames deter predators, making it a fearsome sight amidst the cacti it calls home. With a base of prickly flora around it, the Firearmadillo feels a kinship with these plants and often can be seen curling up beside them to enhance its fiery defenses.

These creatures possess an unusual adaptation – they can sense the heat of potential prey, using this ability to go unnoticed despite their flame-filled body. Its diet consists mainly of insects and small desert creatures. Though they are usually solitary, Firearmadillos may gather in small groups when sufficient food is available, sharing their habitat and helping to intimidate larger threats by rolling into a blazing ball together.
