Specter's Mourning Veil

This tattered black veil shimmers with ghostly energy and is often worn by adventurers who seek to harness the powers of the undead. While wearing the Specter's Mourning Veil, you gain resistance to necrotic damage. Once per long rest, you can use an action to cast the spell 'Fear' (DC 13) without expending a spell slot. In addition, when you drop to 0 hit points, the veil grants you the ability to make one last desperate attack before you fall. You can make one melee attack with one weapon you are proficient with, dealing an additional 1d6 necrotic damage on a hit. After using this ability, you must succeed on a DC 10 Constitution saving throw or gain a level of exhaustion. If you succeed, the veil shimmers and remains active for 1 minute after you reach 0 hit points, granting you the ability to hover within 5 feet of your fallen body for that duration, allowing you to interact with objects and creatures.
