This shard appears to be a constantly shifting piece of dark glass, with writhing patterns that suggest a void beyond reality. While holding the Eldritch Fractal Shard, you gain advantage on Intelligence checks and saving throws against being frightened. However, every time you use this advantage, you must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or become temporarily paranoid, believing that strange things are watching you (you have disadvantage on all attack rolls until the end of your next turn).

The shard grants you the ability to cast the spell "Distort Value" once per day without expending a spell slot. However, every time you do, you are drawn slightly closer to madness, requiring you to roll a d10. On a roll of 1, you are afflicted with the effects of a short-term madness for 1d10 minutes.

This shard was created from the shattered remnants of the Eldritch Horror's own form when it attempted to warp reality in an act of defense, capturing a piece of the twisting chaos it embodies.
