Phantom War Banner of Kazan

This tattered banner, once a symbol of Kazan Khan's conquests, now shimmers with a ghostly light. When planted into the ground, it summons a spectral aura that provides the wielder and their allies a +1 bonus to attack rolls and damage for the duration of combat. However, the banner drains a portion of life force, inflicting one point of necrotic damage to each ally every time they attack while within its range. Additionally, the wielder must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 13) each round they stand within 10 feet of the banner; on a failure, they experience dark dreams, invoking feelings of dread that impose disadvantage on their next ability check before the end of their next turn. Kazan Khan created this banner to instill fear and courage in his skeletal army, but its power comes at a cost, a reminder of the death and suffering left in his path.
