This jagged, serrated claw is a trophy taken from a slain Thornback Raptor. It can be wielded as a melee weapon that deals 1d8 slashing damage. On a successful hit, the claw can channel the Thornback Raptor's fierce spirit, allowing you to add an additional 1d6 piercing damage once per turn. Additionally, the claw has the ability to cast the spell 'Entangle' once per long rest, as if using a spell slot of 2nd level, with a DC equal to your spell save DC. The spell is enhanced by the primal energy of the raptor, causing the entangling vines to deal 1d4 piercing damage to creatures caught within them at the start of their turns for the duration of the spell.
