Cynopoint Fang

This crude necklace is made from the jagged tooth of a Cynocephalus, strung on a strip of leather. While worn, it grants the wearer advantage on Wisdom (Animal Handling) checks made with canine creatures. Additionally, once per long rest, the wearer can cast 'Speak with Animals' to communicate with wolves or similar beasts. However, the necklace is imbued with a lingering sense of dominion and exudes a faint, unsettling odor that causes disadvantage on Charisma checks against non-animal creatures unless the wearer spends an hour to cleanse it with fresh water. If the necklace isn't cleaned regularly (once every three days), the odor becomes more prominent, causing additional disadvantage.
