Guardian's Scale Choker

This necklace is fashioned from the iridescent scales shed by the Serpentis Guardian, a massive serpent-like beast that patrols the borders of its territory. When worn, the Guardian's Scale Choker grants the ability to blend in with natural environments, providing advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made in forests and jungles. Additionally, the wearer gains resistance to poison damage and advantage on saving throws against being poisoned due to the protective nature of the choker's scales.

However, the magic of the choker comes at a cost. The wearer feels a primal urge to defend their territory as the Guardian does. This manifests as a deep-seated territorial instinct: each time the wearer is attacked, they must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or feel compelled to attack the source of the harm, even if it puts themselves or their allies at risk. Furthermore, the choker can only be worn by someone who demonstrates a deep bond with nature; otherwise, its powers are muted and carry an unsettling aura, causing disadvantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks with creatures related to civilization or urban environments.
