Pincer Ant Carapace

This lightweight armor is crafted from the hardened carapaces of Giant Pincer Ants, providing both protection and flexibility. While wearing this armor, the wearer gains a +1 bonus to AC. Additionally, once per short rest, the wearer can use a bonus action to gain the ability to make a melee attack with their unarmed strike that deals 1d8 piercing damage, as they mimic the powerful pincers of the ant. If the attack hits, the target must succeed on a DC 13 Strength saving throw or be grappled (escape DC 13). The grappled target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns to break free.
