Sickle of Forsaken Souls

This elegantly crafted sickle is made from ethereal silver that glows faintly with a holy light. When wielded, the Sickle of Forsaken Souls grants a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls against undead creatures. Additionally, on a hit, the sickle can siphon a fragment of the target's essence, healing the wielder for 1d4 hit points (this requires attunement by a good-aligned character). However, any evil-aligned creature that attempts to wield the sickle finds it searing hot to the touch, dealing 1d4 radiant damage each turn they hold it.

The sickle was once a tool of reaping for Nex, who used it to guide souls to their afterlife. It was imbued with blessings from the celestial plane, allowing it to purify and heal the worthy while punishing those corrupted by darkness. Its effects can feel morally conflicting, as it may heal even those without pure intentions if they attempt to corrupt its power, causing discomfort to the character wielding it.
