Whispers of Temptation

This small, silver-toned flute is adorned with intricate carvings of entwined vines and faces that seem to shift and change as you look at them. When played, it produces haunting melodies that charm nearby creatures, granting advantage on Charisma (Persuasion) checks made to influence those under its effect. However, the music lingers in the mind of the player, causing them to become susceptible to temptation, risking inner conflict. After using the flute, the player must succeed on a DC 13 Wisdom saving throw or face an uncontrollable urge to 'give in' to a vice of their choice for the next hour (examples include theft, lust, violence, gluttony, etc.). Misdirecting the charm can lead to unintended, often disastrous, consequences for both the player and those charmed.
