Shaun, known to some as Shaun *Snow*, is a unique blend of a half-snake demon and half-winter Eladrin Elf, a heritage that has shaped his life in profound and often painful ways. At a glance, Shaun appears to be in his early twenties, though his true age is closer to twenty-five. His early years were spent in a quaint Elven village, where he was indistinguishable from other Elven children. However, as his non-Elven features began to manifest, his life took a drastic turn. Around the age of five or six, a fervently religious priest named Brother Eldrin, driven by his rigid beliefs, expelled Shaun from the village. This was despite his mother, Liora's, desperate attempts to reason with the priest. The trauma of separation from his mother fueled Shaun's relentless search for her, a quest that consumed the next two to three years of his life. After failing to find her, Shaun retreated to a cave, where he has spent the last fifteen years honing his survival skills and continuing his search in solitude. His appearance is striking and somewhat unsettling; his right eye, hidden beneath a black eyepatch, is purple with the symbol of a spider, a remnant of a find familiar spell. His left eye is a vivid red with a slit pupil, a clear indication of his demonic heritage. To conceal his snake-like snout and mouth, Shaun wears a black half-face mask. His attire consists of a black long-sleeve shirt and crudely sewn leather pants, and he cleverly wraps his long snake-like tail around his waist like a belt, hiding it from view. Shaun's life is a tapestry of longing, resilience, and the constant search for belonging, marked by the internal and external conflicts stemming from his unique heritage and the harsh rejection by his own people.
