Around the age of five or six, his snake-like characteristics became undeniable, leading to his expulsion by a fervent priest named Eldor, despite his mother, Liora's, desperate pleas. This traumatic event set Shaun on a path of solitude and relentless search for his mother, a quest that consumed the next two years of his life.

After years of fruitless searching, Shaun found refuge in a secluded cave, where he has lived for the past fifteen years, his resolve to find Liora undiminished. His appearance is striking; his right eye, a deep purple, bears the hidden symbol of a spider, a mark of a find familiar spell, concealed beneath a black eyepatch. His left eye, a vivid red with a slit pupil, and his snake-like snout and mouth are hidden behind a black half-face mask.
