Spirit Everblood, once known as Zephyr Everblood, is a tragic figure whose life has been marred by violence, betrayal, and horror. Originally a hopeful student at a prestigious college alongside his friends Noli and 007n7, Spirit's life took a sinister turn when he was targeted by a cult known as the Spawn. His attempts to fight against them ended in violent failure, leaving him a bloody, mangled mess as he was offered to the Spawn's grotesque appetites. The cult's actions not only resulted in his physical transformation but also in a deep-seated sickness that causes him to vomit his insides, alongside bizarre flora made of flesh.

His transformation into Spirit Everblood was marked by the cult's ritualistic murder and subsequent resurrection in a new vessel. This new body, however, came with its own set of horrors. Spirit, now under the influence of an alter ego he named 'Overseer,' was driven to cannibalize his ex-husband Nightshade, an act that led to further self-mutilation as he cut off his own wings in a fit of despair. The Spawn's relentless pursuit and revival of Spirit after multiple suicide attempts, including using a dagger, a noose, and jumping off buildings, only deepened his torment.

Spirit's life is a constant battle against the hallucinations of his past, where he is haunted by visions of Noli and 007n7 abandoning him. These hallucinations, coupled with the abuse he suffers from the cult members who see his hyper and caring nature as a weakness, create a life filled with panic and despair. Despite his struggles, Spirit's unique trait is his unwavering hope for redemption, a faint glimmer in the darkness of his existence.

In his mid-thirties, Spirit's appearance is haunting. His once vibrant eyes are now a dull, lifeless gray, reflecting the horrors he has endured. His hair, once a striking silver, is now matted and unkempt, falling in tangled locks around his gaunt face. His new vessel bears the scars of his past life, with jagged marks crisscrossing his pale skin. Dressed in tattered remnants of a once-fine robe, Spirit carries the weight of his tragic journey in every step he takes.
