The mortal factions scramble; heroes are needed to retrieve four shards and restore balance before the veils between planes rend completely.

Main quest: recover the four shards—Dawn, Noon, Dusk, Night—from distinct regions: the Skyreach Archipelago (airship storms and cloud-draped fortresses), the Verdant Wraithwood (living forest with sentient roots), the Nightsea Depths (submerged ruins guarded by sea guardians), and the Beacon Spire Gate District (a fortress near a volatile portal). Reforge the crown atop the Beacon Spire to seal rifts and stabilize arcane weather; the rite bestows celestial boons and secures reality for generations.

Hooks and side quests: a celestial envoy arrives with an urgent plea; a scholar seeks the Star-Quill to rewrite shard histories; a rival noble schemes to weaponize a shard; a fanatical cult accelerates Convergence by sacrificing star-beings. Side quests grant alliances, crucial maps, and relics; one arc uncovers an ancient theft and unveils the true motive behind the Convergence.

Perils and challenges: aerial combat on skyships, puzzles within star-forge ruins, political intrigue among rival houses, and planar incursions that threaten towns. Time pressure grows as omen-runes awaken; misusing shards can twist magic and awaken dangerous guardians.
