Overview

In the Verdant Archipelago, living forests spill into coastal towns. A celestial seed whispers power from the green depths. The Blackroot cult seeks to fuse the Verdant Crown with the Sun-Tide Obelisk, risking a world-spanning renewal that becomes a choking jungle.

Main Quest

The party must locate and secure the Verdant Crown, unravel the ritual’s steps, and stop the Blood Moon ceremony before the Sun-Tide alignment completes.

• Greyhaven: starting port where a festival reveals a clandestine network of cultists.


• Verdant Expanse: maze-like forest where sentient trees guide and mislead seekers.


• Ruin of Narlath: ash-laden city with seed-lore libraries and a living guardian.


• Sky-Anchor of Thalasar: floating fortress; staging ground for the aerial rite.


• Mire of Echoes: memory-haunted swamp; final confrontation with the Crown’s will.

Central Events & Triggers

A solar-lunar eclipse sparks the second ritual phase; a corrupted seed within an NPC forces a choice to save or seize power. A faction betrayal accelerates the countdown and shards of the Crown awaken.

• A merchant’s cargo vanishes, leaving map fragments to Verdant Expanse.


• A child hears the Crown’s whispers in the wind and survives a plant-warding attack.

Side Quest

Investigation of the golems uncovers Lirieth’s hidden grove and a counter-ward recipe. Align with or oppose her to gain a powerful ally or a dangerous artifact.

Setting & Rewards

Designed for 4–5 players, levels 3–9 across 8–12 sessions. Rewards include Seed-Touched items (Staff of Vines, Cloak of Blooming), a Grove Avatar boon, and world-altering choices at campaign end.
