Campaign Overview

In "Dinosaurs of Isla Nebular," players embark on a thrilling adventure set on a tropical island populated by various dinosaur species. After a fierce storm wreaks havoc, baby dinosaurs are lost and separated from their packs. It’s up to the players to save these adorable creatures and return them to safety.

Setting

Isla Nebular is a lush and vibrant island with dense jungles, towering cliffs, and sandy beaches surrounded by sparkling blue waters. The island is dotted with ancient ruins of a forgotten civilization, which adds an air of mystery and provides opportunities for exploration. There are several distinct biomes, including a swampy area, a volcanic region, and a vast grassland where herds of dinosaurs roam. The frequent thunderstorms create an unpredictable environment with treacherous paths.

Main Quest

The main objective is to rescue baby dinosaurs that have been scattered across the island due to a powerful storm. Players must locate them in various locations such as the Mystic Jungle, Dino Valley, and the Sandy Shores. The players will face challenges such as crumbling paths, navigating through difficult terrain, and avoiding territorial adult dinosaurs.

Side Quest

Players can also embark on a side quest to investigate the ruins of the Ancient Civilization. They’ll discover clues about how dinosaurs once thrived peacefully alongside these settlers before the recent disturbances on the island. Players may choose to illuminate the history of the island which could provide helpful insights into their main quest as well.

Central Events and Triggers

The campaign kicks off with the storm, which serves as the catalyst for the adventure. Players begin in a small ranger's outpost where they are briefed on their mission. Central events include encounters with various dinosaurs, unexpected plant hazards, and rescue missions involving clever use of teamwork and skills to unite baby dinosaurs with their herds.

Challenges and Rewards

Players will face challenges like dealing with environmental hazards caused by the storm, pacifying frightened dinosaurs, and solving puzzles to unlock pathways in the ancient ruins. Success in their missions may reward players with dinosaur-themed gear and artifacts from the ancient civilization, increasing their abilities and assisting them in future adventures.
