The Main Quest

Recover the five Writs, rebind the Lattice, and restore the Weave by confronting the Editor, a forgotten archivist who seeks to rewrite reality so his manuscripts endure. The journey will challenge the party with exploration, diplomacy, and cunning as much as with combat. Every Writ recovered narrows the Tear and buys time against the final reckoning.

• Verdant Vault Writ of Growth: hidden in an ancient living forest. Guardian is a sentient tree and a riddle strangler who tests stewardship of nature.


• Tidebound Quays Writ of Recall: sealed beneath a submerged harbor where drowned memories drift like kelp; guardians are sea spirits and a chorus of drowned voices.


• Ironspires Writ of Forge: guarded by brass golems within a fortress-city built into a colossal furnace, requiring clever bargains with guildmasters and engineers.


• Hourglass Wastes Writ of Time: tucked inside a shattered chronomancer temple where time slips and replays itself; wardens are clockwork sentinels and a mislaid hourglass spirit.


• Inkwell Skies Writ of Ink: housed in a floating library that drifts between clouds; its custodian is a living quill and a library choir of ink spirits.
