Racial Features

Darkvision of the Blighted

Accustomed to ruined streets and ash-choked nights, you have darkvision out to 60 feet. You can see in dim light as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. Color is muted and perceived incorrectly in total darkness.

Usage: Always

Radiation Resilience

Your body has adapted to survive toxic environments. You have advantage on saving throws against disease and environmental radiation effects, and you gain resistance to poison damage. You are also immune to the poisoned condition caused by lingering contamination (radiation, chemical filth, and similar environmental poisons), though you can still be poisoned by biological or magical poisons that target you directly.

Usage: Always

Ghoulborn Strike

Your touch carries the blight of the wastes. You can make unarmed strikes that deal 1d4 necrotic damage instead of bludgeoning damage. In addition, once per long rest you may make a ghoulborn strike as part of an Attack action; on a hit, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Constitution modifier) or be stunned until the end of your next turn as lingering necrotic corruption locks muscle and nerve. Creatures immune to being stunned or constructs and undead automatically succeed on this save.

Usage: Once per long rest

Wasteland Sustenance

Years of living among ruin taught the Ghoulborn how little they need. You do not need to eat or drink as much as a normal human; you can go without food and water for twice as long as a human without suffering the normal exhaustion penalties. However, magical effects that restore food, water, or satiation still affect you normally.

Usage: Always

Scent of the Fallen

You have advantage on Wisdom (Survival) checks to track living creatures by scent in ruined, ash-covered, or chemically contaminated terrain. In such environments you can also detect the presence of living creatures within 30 feet even when you don’t see them, though you can’t distinguish friend from foe without a check or seeing them.

Usage: Always
