Derro are Small and adapted to lightless places. You have a climb speed of 20 feet, and you can move across and cling to uneven surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, while traveling at full speed so long as you’re not incapacitated.

Far-Touched Vision

You have superior vision in dark and twisted places. You have darkvision out to 120 feet. In darkness tied to the Far Realm (fey-touched, dream-stitched, or otherworldly), you can perceive ethereal or incorporeal forms as faint silhouettes and gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks relying on sight to detect such creatures.

Innate Psionics

The Far Realm’s whispering left a shard of power in your mind. You know the Mind Sliver cantrip. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for this cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Dissonant Whispers spell once per long rest as an innate spell; at 5th level you can cast Detect Thoughts once per long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Psi Resilience

Years of exposure to incomprehensible truths left you with an odd sort of immunity. You have advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened, and you gain proficiency in Wisdom saving throws if you don't already have it. If you already have proficiency in Wisdom saves, you instead gain proficiency in Intelligence saving throws.

Whisper Lash

As an action once per short rest, you can unleash an intimate, alien whisper toward one creature you can see within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier) or suffer the effects of a brief psychic sting: the target has disadvantage on its next attack roll and on the next Wisdom (Perception) check it makes before the end of its next turn. Creatures immune to being charmed are immune to this effect.

Usage: Once per short rest

Backlash (Reaction)

You can lash back with raw psychic pain when struck. When a creature hits you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force the attacker to make a Wisdom saving throw (DC = 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Intelligence modifier). On a failed save, the attacker takes psychic damage equal to 1d6 + your Intelligence modifier. You can use this feature once per long rest.
