Almighty DM
The Almighty DM is a player character who channels the voice and powers of a worldshaper. They manipulate narrative levers—probability, plot hooks, and scene composition—turning play into a tool. They are a bridge between metagame and in-game authority, at once charming and unnerving.

Martial Abilities
Retcon
You may alter a single nonmagical event that happened within the last round. As an action, spend 1 Plot Point to force one creature to reroll one check, save, or attack, and you choose whether to accept the new result. Use requires a clear narration of the retcon's limit.
Spawn Trap
You place a narrative trap in an area. As an action and spending 1 Plot Point, choose a 10-foot square within 60 feet. The first creature that enters or ends its turn in the square triggers the trap (GM determines effect, usually a hold, damage, or complication). The trap lasts 1 minute or until triggered.
Raise CR
As an action, spend 2 Plot Points to temporarily increase a single hostile creature's challenge (speed, damage, or a single attack bonus) as a spectacle. This lasts for 1 minute. This is useful for tuning encounters on the fly.
Plot Twist
Spend 2 Plot Points as a reaction when an enemy hits an ally: you can replace that hit with a surprising narrative (the enemy slips, the weapon fails). Treat as converting the hit into a miss. The attacker knows it was a twist.
NPC Directive
You can spend 1 Plot Point to grant an allied NPC within 60 feet a single, clear tactical instruction that it follows to the best of its ability for 1 minute (e.g., 'protect the prince', 'keep to shadows').
Divine Critique
You can spend 1 Plot Point to inspect an ability, item, or creature for weaknesses. As an action, gain one piece of mechanical insight (e.g., creature is vulnerable to thunder damage) which you and the DM agree on. This insight lasts until you use it or 1 hour elapses.
Cue the Music
Spend 1 Plot Point to create a mood: music or ambient effects that grant allies within 30 feet advantage on checks related to performance, intimidation, or deception for 1 minute.
Narrative Mark
When an ally benefits from your Meta Adjudicator or Session Save, they gain a Narrative Mark. You can spend a Plot Point as a bonus action to consume a Mark and grant that ally either a temporary hit point pool equal to your level × 2 or a single reroll on a failed save within 1 minute.
Meta Adjudicator
Edit Outcome
Spend 3 Plot Points to shift the stakes of a single contest (a duel, a contested skill challenge, a social contest). Mechanically, alter consequences: convert a failed contested skill into partial success, reduce damage consequences, or change the progression to a negotiated outcome. This is narrative in scope and must be approved by the DM.
Die of Fate
You conjure a spectral d20. As an action, roll it and apply its number as a modifier to one creature's roll (ally adds it; enemy subtracts it). This costs 1 Plot Point. At 11th level you may spend 2 Plot Points to grant advantage when the d20 comes up 20 for an ally (story-dependent).
Retcon Scene
Spend 4 Plot Points to rewind the immediate past of a single combat round: all creatures in 30 feet revert to positions and HP they had at the start of that round. You alone retain memory of the original. Useable once per long rest.
Retcon
Narrative Anchor
Place an anchor that stabilizes reality. Spend 3 Plot Points as an action to create a point within 60 feet. While within 30 feet of the anchor, allies add your Charisma modifier to saves and checks once per round. The anchor lasts 1 minute.
GM's Gambit
Once per short rest, you may spend 2 Plot Points to impose an optional rule in the middle of an encounter that affects only a single round (e.g., 'ranged attacks require an extra d20 check', 'stealth is doubled in value'). Must be narratively justified.
Epic Plot Device
Spend 5 Plot Points to introduce a major, bounded narrative device (a macguffin, a stage effect, a summoned noncombatant entity) that remains for 24 hours. The DM adjudicates mechanical specifics with your input.
Session Save (Combat)
A refined Meta Adjudicator for combat: as a reaction spend 3 Plot Points to negate enough damage to prevent a creature under 60 feet from dropping below 1 HP. Usable once per short rest at 17th level.
Meta Adjudicator
Canonize
Spend 6 Plot Points to cement a single ruling or effect as 'canonical' for your campaign: it persists until you or a being of equal narrative authority removes it. This is a campaign-level action and must be coordinated with the DM and group.
Transformations
Avatar of Adjudication
You morph into the authoritative visage of a game adjudicator: your words carry weight and your presence warps probability. In this form you gain a +2 bonus to AC and saving throws, allies within 30 feet gain a +1 bonus on attack rolls and saves, and you regain 1 Plot Point at the start of each of your turns. Lasts up to 1 minute. You can enter this form once per long rest, or spend 4 Plot Points to use it additionally.
+2 to AC and saving throws, Allies within 30 feet gain +1 to attacks and saves, Regain 1 Plot Point at start of your turns
While transformed you can use Die of Fate as a bonus action without spending Plot Points.
Cannot cast spells in this form (if you had any)., Narrative-altering uses cost Plot Points as normal.
Stage Director
You take on an elocutionary form that amplifies social and environmental influence: you may, for 10 minutes, command scenes with limited force. Allies under your influence gain advantage on social checks; you may spend a bonus action to force one NPC to pause, gesture, or be distracted for 1 round. Usable once per long rest or with 3 Plot Points for another use.
Allies gain advantage on social checks, You gain bonus to Persuasion and Performance equal to your Charisma modifier
Use a bonus action to compel an NPC to take one simple nonviolent action for 1 round
Hostile creatures can resist with Wisdom saves.
Deus Ex Machina
A dramatic, limited transformation reserved for dire moments. For one brief scene (up to 1 round), you may spend 8 Plot Points to grant a single chosen ally any one of: immediate full cure of a single condition and 50 temporary hit points, a guaranteed critical hit on their next attack, or the avoidance of a lethal effect. Use requires unanimous table consent and DM approval.
Powerful single-target rescue or guarantee
Triggers one decisive mechanical effect you choose when spending the cost
Campaign-significant; respect table balance.
Auras
Table Presence
An aura that makes your rulings feel tangible. As an action, toggleable, you activate a 30-foot radius aura. Allies in the aura gain a bonus equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum +1) to skill checks tied to the current scene (combat, negotiation, exploration) and a +1 bonus to AC vs environmental hazards (falling debris, traps) while the aura is active. Maintaining the aura costs 1 Plot Point per minute. Deactivate anytime.
Allies gain scene-appropriate bonuses and minor hazard protection.
Action
This aura can be toggled on or off.
Spotlight
You can turn the spotlight onto one ally or NPC within 60 feet. While Spotlit (lasts 1 minute), that target gains advantage on one kind of roll (attack, check, or save) you choose when you activate Spotlight. Costs 1 Plot Point. You may have only one Spotlight active at a time.
Grant advantage in a chosen category for the target.
